Analysis of Principal Target Beneficiaries - Priority Areas - Themes

Dundrum Sailing Club is very concerned to note the above average number of hospital admissions identified (by Mentor) within the mid to late age group village population . Mentor goes on by saying that their survey suggests a picture of health concerns. Whilst elsewhere in the report (Mentor) records lower than average life expectancy for males & females within Dundrum.


Therefore Dundrum Sailing Club has carried out a survey within it's own membership & those guests taking part at an open meeting/regatta.
                                        

Following a lead from DARD & by, quite literally, taking a snap shot of our activities D.S.C. has coded each of the sub sample (photographs) with the nomenclature provided by DARD

Dundrum Sailing Club believes that this survey shows our commitment to & potential ability to meet the needs of the target groups. And that the Mentor report supports the need for such provision within the Dundrum area because of the identified socio-economic deprevations.

Given the establishment of risks both to the target beneficiaries within a watersport environment & colateral beneficaries of an improved tourism product mix
