Subject: RE: Request for quotation - Dundrum Sailing Club rescue boat

Dear Jeremy,
Many thanks for your enquiry.
I would recommend a Humber 4.1m GRP hull RIB, open boat tiller steered with
a 30hp engine. Please see estimated costs as follows, if you would like more
formal quote and figures let me know.
4.1 Seapro RIB - £4,000 inc VAT
30hp Yamaha - £4,799 inc VAT
Indespension roller trailer - £1,500 inc VAT
Total £10,299 inc VAT (excluding delivery from factory)
With a Mariner engine 30hp (which I can also supply) the cost would be
approx. £9,000 inc VAT
If you add a console into the equation with a single or double jockey seat I
would estimate the cost to be approx. £15,000.
This would obviously give you electric start with battery, electric trim
adjustment and the possibility of adding gauges and other electronics, depth
sounders etc to the console and probably an A-frame. Nice to have but more
to go wrong and maintain! I attach the specification and some pictures of my
suggestion.
