The club committie members have resolved to ask the full membership to consider, at the next available general meeting, if an additional category of membership should be offered to persons (say for example) 60 years & over in the form of foundation/life membership, who, in return for a one off payment equivalent to 10 years of existing fees, will be exempt from further fee levy for life.
A change of this nature would require an amendment of the existing constitution.
Funds raised by this process would be ring fenced for the purchase costs associated with this project.
